Atlas Foundation Celebrates Atlas Tigers’ Continued Robotics Success
The Atlas Foundation is proud to celebrate the remarkable journey of the Atlas Tigers Robotics Team, a powerful example of how education, mentorship, and collaboration can bring young people together across backgrounds. For the past two years, our dedicated volunteers have led a robotics club that nurtures curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among talented students.
The Atlas Tigers’ accomplishments have been outstanding. Last year, the team placed in the top 15 out of 70 teams nationwide at the FIRST LEGO League National Championship in Massachusetts. Building on that success, they earned the Champions Finalist Award and 1st Place in the Robot Game at the Louisiana State Championship at Tulane University this year—marking their second consecutive state title.
Now preparing to compete once again at the national level at WPI in Worcester, Massachusetts, the Atlas Tigers will represent Louisiana among more than 100 teams from around the world. Their journey reflects the Atlas Foundation’s commitment to empowering students, strengthening communities, and inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders.
